Janakpurdham, Nepal, April 27, 2022 – The Binaytara Foundation hosted its Fourth International Cancer Congress on April 16, bringing together scientists and healthcare workers to share the latest findings in cancer care. This educational meeting had the goal of improving the care of cancer patients in South Asia by educating cancer care providers about the latest developments in the field, and their applications in the local context. This year’s event resulted in the presentation of numerous papers or studies on the topic, and two presenters received awards for their work:
The agenda included a breast cancer session, several general oncology sessions, an abstract session, a keynote address on communication, and the award ceremony.
“The 4th International Cancer Congress is an important way for leaders in cancer care to share the latest research and advances to improve cancer care in South Asia,” said Dr. Binay Shah, president of the Binaytara Foundation. “It’s an honor to congratulate our award winners, and thank everyone who contributed to the conference. We appreciate the hard work of each person who shared a paper at this congress, and we encourage others to submit to our medical journal throughout the year. It helps us to disseminate research beyond those who can attend the conference, and there is no fee to submit.”
