In this week’s faculty highlight, we present Drs. Chris Nevala-Plagemann, Katie Kerrigan, and Theresa Werner.
These three doctors joined us as faculty at the Precision Oncology Conference in Salt Lake City, UT on October 7-8, 2022.
Our staff, Tiani, talked with Dr. Nevala-Plagemann, Dr. Kerrigan, and Dr. Werner to discuss their roles in the conference and how they relate to the Binaytara Foundation’s mission of improving access to cancer care through education, advocacy, and innovation.
Dr. Nevala-Plagemann, an oncologist at Huntsman Cancer Institute, believes that the Binaytara Foundation is making impact and was honored to be part of our conference.
Dr. Kerrigan is a head and neck, thyroid, and lung oncologist at Huntsman Cancer Institute. She is interested in decreasing health disparities and was excited to support our mission.
Lastly, Dr. Werner is an oncologist at Huntsman Cancer Institute and she was the co-chair at the Precision Oncology Conference. She is passionate about access to cancer care and our mission resonates with her.
